Teacher Induction Mission

The mission of the Alief ISD Teacher induction program is to provide a supportive and comprehensive onboarding experience for new educators, with the ultimate goal of cultivating highly effective and certified teachers. Our program is designed to equip new and Associate Teachers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to succeed in the classroom.

We recognize the importance of mentoring as a vital component of this process. Through the guidance and expertise of experienced and exceptional teachers, we aim to assist novice teachers in attaining instructional excellence. Our mentors will utilize observation and reflection to help beginning teachers improve their teaching skills, ultimately fostering their professional growth and success.
